IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-
If you feel that I would be able to help, please contact me via the contact form, email or phone.
I will then make contact with you to arrange a free consultation session (usually via Zoom or telephone).
If we are all in agreement to proceed, I offer a minimum amount of six sessions. If you are looking for short term work, then I may not be the right therapist for your child or adolescent. We will then regularly review the therapy, throughout the journey.
-
I work at home; my therapy room is the summer house in my garden. This does bring some accessibility issues, due to my steep driveway and steps to the therapy room.
There is no public transport, apart from a bus service into the village. It is likely that you will need to drive to sessions.
If you are bringing your child or adolescent to therapy you need to be contactable for the duration of the session, and must remain within the local area.
-
My preference is to work face-to-face, and this is the only way that I will work with young children or complex issues. However I will offer online therapy if I am satisfied that it is safe to do so, following my risk assessment of the presenting issues and client history.
-
I offer after school appointments and Saturday mornings.
-
The initial consultation is free of charge.
There after therapy sessions are charged at a rate of £65.00/session, and are payable in advance.
You may choose to pay for each individual session, or in ‘blocks’. If required I can send you an invoice via text or email, which will also provide my bank details.
If reports are required I am happy to do so, and fee will be dependent on the report required.
Please note, I do not work with any health insurance companies.
-
I understand that life is not always straightforward, and that ‘things happen’. However, I require 48 hours cancellation notice prior to the session. If appointments are not cancelled within this time frame, then fees will still be due.
